Where blueSKY sits
bredent organises its implants under the SKY name, differentiated by material, connection and diameter. blueSKY is the standard titanium implant, the one used for routine cases where there is adequate bone and no special constraint. copaSKY addresses limited bone height, narrowSKY limited width, and whiteSKY the wish for a metal-free implant.
bredent's actual strength
bredent began in 1974 as a dental laboratory materials company, and moved into implants later. That history shows in where the range is strongest: the prosthetic side, frameworks, attachments, the parts that carry your teeth, is unusually well developed. If your case is complex prosthetically, such as a full arch or a denture needing precise attachments, that laboratory heritage is a genuine advantage.
bredent's best-known product, BioHPP, is a ceramic-reinforced high-performance polymer used for abutments and frameworks, the parts fitted on top of an implant. The implants themselves are titanium, or zirconia in the case of whiteSKY. This is the most common misunderstanding about bredent, and worth clarifying with your dentist so you know what is actually going where.
SKY pro guide
SKY pro guide is bredent's guided-surgery workflow. A surgical guide is made from your 3D scan and fits over your teeth or gum, constraining the drill to a planned path. bredent is far more established in Germany and continental Europe than in Canada. If you are offered a bredent implant here, ask specifically about component supply over the long term, not because the implants are poor, but because a thinner distribution network can mean longer waits for parts in fifteen or twenty years.
